Beginning with the End in Mind
by Ryan Brown
“To begin with the ending in mind means to start with a clear understanding of your destination” (Stephen Covey)
When considering the purchase of a trade show booth or a new promotional banner, take the time to plan out what your goals are for these investments. Often times, we sit down with clients to discuss the design or content of a booth and the only idea they come prepared with is “Make it look good”. With an request that broad, it’s hard to display the differentiating features of a company. A truly unique, custom-tailored design can be created when you answer questions such as: “What would we like to accomplish with this display?” “What message(s) do we want to communicate?” “What are our goals for this display?”
When you are thinking about a new display for your business, do so with the end result in mind. Figure out what message you would like to communicate and what you want to accomplish in the beginning. Starting with the end in mind may be the difference between a pretty display and an eye-catching, customized display that brings results.
